Emirgan Park is a park located in the Sarıyer district of Istanbul and is one of the citys most beautiful green spaces. It is located on a 117-acre plot of land overlooking the Bosphorus. Emirgan Park was originally a forestland owned by Emir Güne Han during the Ottoman Empire in the 17th century. In the 19th century, during the reign of Sultan Abdülaziz, the process of organizing and afforestation of Emirgan Park began in its current form. The park houses three historical mansions: the Yellow Mansion, the Pink Mansion, and the White Mansion. These mansions reflect the architectural features of the Ottoman period and host various events today. Emirgan Park is famous for the International Istanbul Tulip Festival, which is held especially in the spring months. During this period, the park is decorated with tulips of various colors and many visitors visit the park to see this beautiful view. In addition, the park has childrens playgrounds, jogging and walking trails, picnic areas, and cafes. Emirgan Park is one of the best places to be in Istanbul for those who want to be in touch with nature and spend a peaceful time.
