Visitors are also able to use Limited Pass Tickets (LPS) and İstanbul City Card or their own contactless credit/debit cards in public transportation together with İstanbulkart!

How Can I Get an İstanbulkart*?
According to your choice, you can get them from ticket vending machines branded BELBİM (Automatic Recharging/Sale Machines) found across Istanbul and all our sales representatives.
*Ticket Vending Machines for İstanbul City Card have their own unique design. They were placed in tourist spots so that it is easy to find!

You can top-up TL your Istanbulkart via all ticket vending machines branded BELBİM or all our sales representatives.
You can use Istanbulkart in all public transportation vehicles (Bus, Subway, Tram, Cable Car, Marmaray, Metrobus, Ferry, etc.). It is also valid for more than 100 thousands points from markets to restaurant, cafes, from cinemas to museums, from clothing to cosmetics and gas stations.
Depending on the duration of your visit, you can get unlimited access of 1, 3, 5, 7 or 15 days public transportation service all around İstanbul. The card is also valid in selected museums (Panaroma 1453 History Museum, Miniatürk, the Şerefiye Cistern and the Basilica Cistern) and the Bosphorus tours by public ferries.
