Fethi Pasha Grove

A Historical and Natural Oasis in Istanbul

Fethi Paşa Grove is a historical and natural park located in the Üsküdar district of Istanbul, on the Anatolian shore of the Bosphorus. It is named after Fethi Ahmet Paşa, an Ottoman statesman who lived in the 19th century. Fethi Ahmet Paşa purchased the area in 1858 and developed it as a place of rest and recreation. Fethi Paşa Grove covers an area of approximately 16 hectares and is home to a variety of tree species. The groves most distinctive feature is its stunning views of the Bosphorus. It is possible to enjoy the unique beauty of the Bosphorus from the observation decks located within the grove. The grove is also home to many bird species, making it an ideal place for birdwatching. In addition, the grove has childrens playgrounds, walking and jogging trails, picnic areas, and a social facility owned by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. Fethi Paşa Grove, with its historical and natural beauty, is a perfect refuge for those looking to escape the noisy and bustling life of Istanbul. The grove is also ideal for activities such as nature walks, picnics, reading, and relaxation.
