Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanical Garden is a botanical garden located in the Ataşehir district of Istanbul. Established in 1995 by Nezahat Gökyiğit, it is the first botanical garden in Turkey. The garden covers an area of 50 hectares and is home to over 2000 plant species. The garden also serves as an education and research center. Various scientific research and projects are carried out here. In addition, various educational programs and workshops are organized for children and adults. Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanical Garden welcomes thousands of visitors every year. The garden has walking paths, picnic areas, childrens playgrounds, and a cafe. The garden is open every day from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and admission is free.
