Sakip Sabanci Museum: A Journey Through Time and Space
Sakip Sabanci Museum is one of Turkeys leading art and cultural centers.
Located in the Emirgan district of Istanbul, the museum is affiliated with Sabanci University and is housed in a historic building called Atli Kösk, which was built in 1927 by Italian architect Edouard De Nari and later became the property of Sakip Sabanci. Opened to the public in 2002, Sakip Sabanci Museum has hosted many different exhibitions since then.
The museums permanent collection includes a variety of works from the Ottoman era, such as calligraphy, painting, books, and letters. Temporary exhibitions are also held, showcasing works by world-renowned artists.
