This love story, which started in the 1730s in Elbiz, a street of Şile, develops on poverty, the main enemy of all impossible loves throughout human history. Dimitri, the rich merchant of the period, has a huge mansion in Şile and workers working for him. Dimitri lives in this mansion with his wife and daughter Eftelya and manages his business from this mansion. Mehmet, who lives in a small village house with his mother, looks after Dimitri's sheep. While shepherd Mehmet is grazing his sheep in the lush green plains of Şile, he sees Dimitri's daughter Eftelya and falls in love with her as soon as he sees her. Eftelya was also very impressed by Mehmet and they met every day and travelled the countryside together.
Of course, such a passionate love in such a small province becomes famous very quickly and reaches the ears of Dimitri. Dimitri, who does not approve of this relationship, closes his daughter in the mansion and fires Mehmet and his mother from both the work and the farm. Sending his mother to Dimitri's door dozens of times but receiving a rejection, Mehmet finds the solution to escape together.
On a night when the stars illuminate the night, the young lovers meet at the foot of the rocks and set off deep into the forest. A few days later, the lifeless bodies of young lovers are washed ashore. The rocks that witnessed this have been crying since that day.
